During the past 2 weeks of NATO Tiger Meet, hosted at Gioia Del Colle with the 12° Gruppo (ItAF), we flew a total of 65 sorties over 9 flying days with 6 aircraft and 11 pilots.

Tobi graduates Tactical Leadership Course
From the 2nd Nov until the 1st Dec one of our fellow Tigers, together with a colleague from Florennes, and a detachment of around 50 support personnel were participating to the flying course of NATO’s TLP, the Tactical leadership programme. They trained and learned how to prepare, conduct and lead complex missions together with aviators from Poland, France, Spain and Italy.

Two weeks of hard work, dedication and full scale participation of the complete Belgian detachment in all professional, social and sportive activities later, 31 sqn was awarded for the 9th time the Silver Tiger. An absolute record!

31 Squadron combines operations with NATO Tiger Meet 2011 at Cambrai
This years edition of the Nato Tiger Meet took place at Cambrai Air Base in France, starting on the 9th of May 2011. The meeting was destined to be a significant one for several reasons: it’s the NATO TIGER ASSOCIATION’s 50th birthday, 31 Fighter Bomber Squadrons 60th birthday and the last meeting for French host squadron EC 01.012 “Cambrésis”, that will be disbanded at the end of the year.
